Our Mission

EL ROBI is a 6-week pre-apprenticeship program administered by EL ROBI (East Lubbock Resident-Owned Business Initiative).  Students receive essential safety training, financial coaching, & industry specific curriculum in order to achieve their apprenticeship license.

EL ROBI works directly with employers to develop on job training programs & paid work placements to ensure individuals are well-prepared for a career in skilled trades.

The pre-apprenticeship program provides individuals with the skills and knowledge in the Heating Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC), Electrical, Plumbing, and Pipe-fitting/Welding industry to maximize employability.
